The Association
The structure that advances the Sageocracy project at the international level.
Sageocratie Internationale
Sageocratie Internationale is the association that carries the diffusion of the project, its digital infrastructure and the organization of the world register of Sageocrats.
Constituted under the French law of 1 July 1901, it acts as a structure of reference, documentation and networking. It is not intended to replace any existing democratic institution, and exercises no authority over the registered Sageocrats. Each registration constitutes, in accordance with the reference work, the recording of an agreement in principle, and not an ideological adherence nor an activist commitment.
The association is the operator of the protocol, not its owner. It does not represent the Sageocrats and does not speak in their name.
An association in the service of a protocol, not of a power.
What the association does
The association supports the translation, publication and international outreach of the reference work. It makes the sageocracy.org platform available and organizes the world register of registrations — all counted, with no age condition, then tallied by country.
When, in a country, the adult share of those registered reaches a significant threshold, the association makes available to the civil society and the citizens of that country the elements of analysis and documentation likely to feed the existing democratic mechanisms — referendum, legislative initiative, constitutional petition, or any other form provided for by the national legal framework.
It supports the development of the Reliances, a tool for recognizing contributions to collective balance. Finally, it organizes the gatherings, trainings, partnerships and experiments contributing to the understanding and the application of the principles set out in the work.
Yannick Costechareyre
Sageocracy was born from years of observation, from within, of the gaps between the way human organizations function and the way life actually organizes itself.
This work took the form of a book, written in the register of a first-level philosophical and political essay, without esoteric vocabulary.
The book
Sageocracy — Toward a society founded on consciousness, syntony and the living
French manuscript completed in May 2026. A step is currently under way with a world-renowned author in order to propose that he write its preface. Depending on the outcome of this step, the work will then be presented to the international publishing houses. The book constitutes the central reference of the project, mentioned as such in the bylaws of the association.
