The World Map of Sageocrats

The worldwide movement, country by country — built in depth before being made visible.

Worldwide registrations

The movement, country by country

World register in progress

The full mapping will be made public on an international scale — carried by the successive translation of the book into the world's main languages. Each registration is recorded right now — dated, geolocated, validated.

Why a world map

Making the invisible visible

There is a paradox at the heart of any large-scale social transformation: the people who have already changed the way they function are often far more numerous than they believe — because they cannot see one another.

Each one lives their change within their own context, without perceiving that thousands, tens of thousands, perhaps millions of other people in other countries, other cultures, other situations, have made or are making the same inner shift.

This mutual invisibility is one of the main reasons why movements carried by a real and widely shared aspiration struggle to reach their critical mass: the people who make them up do not know that they are numerous, and this ignorance slows the collective momentum.

What cannot be seen governs what can.
1
Register

Your registration is immediately recorded in the world register, with your country of residence and the precise date.

2
The counter advances

Each registration advances your country's counter, in real time — invisibly for now, really forever.

3
The map lights up

When the worldwide threshold is reached, the map will open and make the scale of the movement visible to those who have been part of it from the beginning.

The logic of the threshold

Building in depth before being visible

A movement that displays its figures from its earliest days runs a precise risk: creating an impression of fragility that discourages precisely those people who could have joined it at a more advanced stage.

Conversely, a movement that builds in depth — that accumulates registrations over a significant period before making them public — creates the conditions for a moment of revelation: a moment when the map lights up and people in dozens of countries discover simultaneously that they are part of a movement far larger than they imagined.

This moment has considerable strategic and symbolic value. It transforms the nature of the movement — from a project under construction to a visible reality. And this transformation changes the dynamic irreversibly.

Two conditions to activate the map

  • The book available in the world's main languages
  • A worldwide count reaching a significant level on the international scale

These two conditions are linked: the availability of the book in several languages ensures that the registrations reflect a real commitment, not a superficial curiosity.

What the logic of the threshold is not

It is not a wait-and-see attitude. It is the same logic that the book describes about the shift itself: building in depth before being visible, so that visibility, when it comes, produces its full effect.

When the map lights up

What the World Map will make visible

I

The number

Country by country, in real time, with the possibility of seeing the progression over time. Each country represented by a color intensity proportional to the number of registrants — from pale blue for the first commitments to deep blue for the countries where the movement has reached a significant critical mass.

II

The diversity

One of the fundamental affirmations of Sageocracy is that the aspiration to another mode of collective organization is not a Western or culturally situated phenomenon. The World Map will be the visible proof of this universality — real, documented, irrefutable.

III

The depth

The ratio between the number of Sageocrats and the adult population of each country. This ratio is more significant than the absolute number — it says something about the real penetration of the movement in each society, and about the way the democratic threshold can be approached differently depending on the context.

IV

The dynamic

The progression over time, the acceleration after the moment of revelation, the network effect that turns a slow accumulation into rapid acceleration when the critical mass is reached. The movement will not only be visible — it will be legible in its evolution.

The value of registration

What each registration means

Each registration in the world register is not merely one more figure in a counter. It is a real civic act — dated, geolocated, recorded permanently, with four simultaneous dimensions.

I

Personal

The decision of a real person, in a real situation, at a precise moment of their life, to enroll in this approach. This decision has a history and a meaning that belong entirely to them. It cannot be reduced to a figure — but it is part of one.

II

Civic

The addition of a point in a world register that constitutes the democratically verifiable proof of a movement. Not a declaration of intent, not a petition signature that will be forgotten tomorrow — a permanent record in an infrastructure designed to last.

III

Collective

The contribution to a whole whose meaning exceeds the sum of its parts. Each individual registration is, in itself, an act of limited reach. The whole of these registrations, on a worldwide scale, is potentially a historic act.

IV

Prospective

Each registration that takes place today — before the World Map is public, before the book is available in every language — will count when the time comes as proof that the movement existed before it was known. These first registrations are, in the logic of the shift, the most precious.

How it works

An infrastructure built from the very first day

The World Map is present on this site but not yet activated. It is not a page on hold — it is a functional infrastructure that records, dates and geolocates each registration in real time from the very first day.

When registering, each Sageocrat indicates their city of residence. This information, given voluntarily, is recorded precisely and associated with their country — to feed the worldwide cartography on the day of its activation.

When the map is activated, two levels of access will be distinguished. An aggregated view by country — without detailed figures — will be publicly visible, as proof of the movement's existence. The complete counts, country by country, will be accessible only to Sageocrats holding an account — a natural coherence: those who are part of the movement can see its extent.

The data is stored securely and backed up daily. No personally identifiable data will appear on the map — only the counters by country will be visible. This architecture is itself an expression of the principles of Sageocracy: transparency about the collective, protection of what is personal.

The waiting message as a stance

In a landscape where the display of inflated figures, bought followers and simulated communities has become commonplace, the World Map's choice of restraint is itself a demonstration.

Sageocracy practices, in its communication, the same coherence that it advocates in its principles. It does not seek to appear larger than it is. It builds in depth.

Who decides on activation

The decision to activate the World Map belongs to the collegial Council of the association, on the recommendation of Yannick Costechareyre, founder of the project. It will come when the two conditions are met: availability of the book in the main languages, and a worldwide count reaching a significant level. Those already registered will be the first informed.

This world is already here.

To register today is to contribute to the movement before it is visible — to be among those whose registration will count as proof that the movement existed before it was known. It is to choose to be present on the map on the day it lights up, and to know, on that day, that one was there from the beginning.

Each registration is recorded. Each registration is dated. Each registration will count.
