Sageocracy — Toward a society founded on consciousness, syntony and the living

A book. A vision. A precise path to get there.

A precise path for the crossing

For a long time, the transformation of society was thought of in two ways. On one side, reforms within the existing frameworks. On the other, visions of another civilization — with no precise path to get there.

Between the two, a space remained largely unexplored: that of the transition itself.

How do we move, concretely, from a system founded on money and accumulation to a system that recognizes the real contribution to the living? How do we do it without breaking what still holds together the daily life of millions of people?

The book Sageocracy proposes a precise path for this crossing. An architecture that articulates economic transformation, the evolution of the relationship to property, the security of essential needs, and the maintenance of a collective stability during the period of the shift.

Why this book exists

A word from an author who was not meant to write it

This book should not have existed. It was written by a man who had no calling to write — a real-estate agent, who became an architect of digital projects, who became a researcher in consciousness, who became an author almost in spite of himself.

The idea was born in 2004. Not a book — a site, a platform: what would make Sageocracy possible. The will was there. The means were not. It took twenty-two years to find them. And when the site could finally be built, in 2025, the book imposed itself. Almost in spite of its author.

What this book carries today is not one more theory. It is what resists simplification. It is what, after two decades of observing the world and exploring within, asks to be named.

Twenty-two years of maturation

During those twenty-two years, the project did not wait. It went through an entrepreneurial adventure and its collapse. Eleven years of imposed silence. A deep exploration of consciousness. With each trial, something was ripening.

The site preceded the book

Sageocracy.org has existed since July 2025. The book itself was not planned — it imposed itself several months later. This chronology is not an anomaly: it reveals the very nature of the project. The shift does not begin with the publication of a book. It begins with each person who recognizes that the current framework is no longer enough.

What this book proposes

A direction, not a program

A book is not a political program. It is a direction.

Sageocracy is neither a utopia, nor a turnkey recipe, nor a manifesto. It is a coherent proposal — articulated, verifiable, applicable — to gradually reorient the way we decide, work, own, pass on and live together.

The book explores twenty-five dimensions of collective life: money that lies, education that separates, work that exhausts, housing that distances us from ourselves, justice that punishes, medicine that cuts the living into organs — and proposes, for each, what could be there instead.

At the heart of the book, an unprecedented economic architecture: a transitional monetary system that allows, for the first time to the author's knowledge, the passage from one model of civilization to another to be envisioned without collapse, without violent revolution, without a utopia that shatters against reality.

Not through one great evening, but through a great number of small mornings.
Filiations

In the lineage of those who have named

This book stands in the lineage of the thinkers who have, each in their own way, named a part of what is being sought today.

From philosophers of complexity to anthropologists of debt, from theorists of post-growth economics to explorers of consciousness, from ecologists of regeneration to pioneers of collective decision-making: so many contributions that resonate in these pages, without any of them being fully found there.

What this book proposes articulates these dimensions in a coherence that no work, to its author's knowledge, had presented until now as a practicable device of transition.

A landmark preface

A step is under way to propose the preface of the book to an author whose work is one of the major references of the sageocratic project. If this step succeeds, it will open the door to the book's international distribution.
