Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the sageocracy.org website and its associated services, in particular the global register of Sageocrats. By accessing the site or registering, you accept these terms.

2. Registration in the register

Registration is open and free of charge, and it is enough. By registering, you:

• Declare that you recognize as right the direction proposed by Sageocracy, and that you wish to see your country move in that direction
• Accept that your data (title, first name, last name, date of birth, email, country, city and, where applicable, telephone) be recorded in the register, of which only the per-country totals are made public
• Consent to receiving notifications relating to the development of the project
• Understand that registration creates no obligation, whether activist, financial or organizational, and that you can unregister at any time
• Understand that the Sageocrat Card, your personal supporter card, is optional and paid-for: it supports the project and grants no particular rights

3. Use of the site

It is prohibited to:

• Use the site for unlawful or unethical purposes
• Attempt to compromise the security of the register or the infrastructure
• Impersonate another Sageocrat
• Use the register data for commercial or political purposes without authorization
• Reproduce the content without appropriate attribution

4. Intellectual property

The content of the site (texts, images, code, structure) is protected by copyright. Partial reproduction is permitted provided that the source is cited and that its meaning is not altered. Any commercial reproduction is subject to prior authorization.

5. Limitation of liability

The Sageocratie Internationale association does everything in its power to keep the site accessible and secure. It cannot be held liable for service interruptions, technical errors or indirect damages resulting from use of the site.

6. Unregistering

You may unregister at any time, without having to give a reason, from your personal space (“Delete my account”) or via the contact form. Your data is then erased from the register: immediately from your personal space, within 30 days at most for a request made via the contact form.

7. Applicable law

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
